ISO 13485 Medical Devices Management Certification
ISO 13485 is a standard that covers requirements for a quality management system that is functional for organizations in terms of processes for the design, development, production, installation and services of medical devices.
ETIPRES achieves the ISO 13485 certification in July 2023, reaching this certification through the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification ICONTEC, hand in hand with the Technical Standards Institution of Costa Rica INTECO.

ISO 9001 Standard is an international standard of certifiable nature for the quality management systems (QMS) established by International Standards Organization (ISO)
ETIPRES is certified in ISO 9001 integrated with the ISO 14001 standard since the year 2000 up to date.
14001 Environmental Management Certification
ISO 14001 Standard is an international standard of certifiable nature for environmental management systems. It has been designed to help organizations become successful commercially while taking care of the environment.

INTE G35 Certification
INTE G35:2012 is a standard by the Instituto Costarricense de Normas Técnicas (Costa Rican Institute of Technical Standards) about the Corporate Social Responsibility Management System, which allows companies and organizations to organize their efforts when managing corporate social responsibility actions.
ETIPRES obtained the INTE G35 certification in October 2014, thus becoming the fourth company at a national level and the first SME at a national level to obtain this certification, which continues to be in force to date.
C-Neutral Country Program
Costa Rica´s goal is to become carbon neutral by 2021, which is the year of the bicentenary. In order to do this, it is creating an eco-competitive, low in emission and resilient to climate change model as its Climate Change Strategy.
The Country Program is a governmental initiative for the official recognition of the processes related to the inventory report on greenhouse gases (GHG) and the application of the National Standard of Carbon Neutrality.
ETIPRES verified its GHG inventory in 2015 and achieved the C-Neutrality of the Country Program in March 2016, to date.
Essential Costa Rica
This is Costa Rica´s country brand. The companies carrying this brand proudly reflect the following values: Sustainability, Excellence, Costa Rican Origin, Social Program and Innovation.
Essential Costa Rica licensing was obtained in March 2014. We were the fourth company to obtain it. The corporate use Licensing was renewed in 2016 y the Product Use licensing was obtained as well; they are both in force to date.
